Calefo RGBCW Smart Lightstrip

Very different than the other light strips that we've used in our home for different purposes. These, we used to backlight a small mirror on the wall of our Daughter's room. For anything besides that, we would have had to get something bigger than six feet. My favorite feature so far is that you can choose from literally 16 million different colors. So you're not so limited like with all of the other strip lights out there with less color options.

got this to work under a new platform bed I have made for myself. I have a Phillips HUE hub to connect this to and will use ZigBee not Bluetooth. I cannot speak for the app or Bluetooth connection as i dont use them
This light performs just like a Hue light strip. Treat it just the same.
1 Plug it in, 2 have your Hue Hub search for lights 3 it should find them and all good! SIMPLE
The colors vivid maybe not as rich as the HUE strip but the cost trade off is worth it for an under bed light! for me that is. There is not much for instructions that come with it but I did not need any! it worked like any other HUE light for me. It does come with a power supply. I WOULD HAVE LIKED 6INCHES MORE OF LENGTH on the power supply connection OWELL I made it work.

The mount tape most likely will suck good thing I planned ahead and have a mount track for it so the tape is only there to hold it for 10 seconds while I snap the holder shut. they are mounted on the bottom of a platform bed facing the floor so I DID NOT TAKE A CHANCE with mount tape!! sucking!! and bought a led mounting channel so no tape issue for me!

good cheaper alt to a HUE light strip and work with and just like a HUE. I have had NO ISSUE at all with these not working with my HUE not setup issues, they work with the schedules for Home and away settings I have and all the HUE remote wall control, and light switch protector button which is a LUTRON brand I think and motion sensor for a room that works with my HUE hub

SO I am Happy and they work great. I read after purchase on the company and several people worked for HUE go figure! no wonder they work with HUE so easy! I will look for more products from this brand. I have some spots I wanted LED but did not need that BAD to fork over the cost of HUE this changes that!!! these are cheaper and can be used as HUE in those not so important but WANTED spots! awesome!!

So this is a very durable feeling led strip. It was super easy to install and get going on the Calefo app. But, The adhesive sucks. It’s been about a month and it’s already falling off of my desk. When I got this I thought I had a zigbee hub also. But I guess my amazon echo doesn’t have one. So I can’t hook it up to Alexa. So that’s a bummer. I do feel like this is a pretty solid value for a zigbee light strip. They are super bright which is a positive. And the color accuracy is… Ok.

This light performs just like a Hue lightstrip, and that's clearly intentional - just look at the box. The listing says it is Hue compatible but I found nothing specific about that in the instructions. I was over thinking it. Treat it just the same. Plug it in, have Hue search for lights and presto! The colors are not quite as vivid and sometimes it seems like there are fewer levels within a color range than you get with Hue, but in my opinion this is a fair trade for the price difference.
